9th gen's first concert tour!
Got around to watching it last night and I thought it was a great first concert for 9th gen. I wasn't too fond of the setlist mostly because I didn't like their 11th album.
The winner for best individual performer definitely goes to Aichan. She seemed to be on a completely different level from anyone else on stage. It's like the blonde hair transformed her into this beast of a performer. Her performance reminded me that she only has two months left. *sad*
The best performance of the concert was definitely Moonlight Night. I mean, I knew Aichan and Gakisan had it in them (they definitely turned up the heat though), but Riho like blossomed before my eyes in this performance. I didn't think she would be able to hang with Morning Musume's best this early, but she definitely held her own. I approved of Rihoriho's apparent pushing before, and now I'm hoping for it more than ever. Girl has some Aichan in her.

I do feel a bit uncomfortable about the sexiness of the dance break. Ai and Risa are adults so it's a perfect dance for them but Riho is still a child, I don't want to be thinking about "sex" and "Riho" in the same thought at least for 3 years.
Wow! That performance of Moonlight Night was crazy! It was very completely out of nowhere, and really complicated dancing. Very cool.
ReplyDeleteI was pleasantly surprised. Though I agree with Hidders a bit. Morning musume seems to be keeping up with their more grown up image, but now they have very young members. Being a straight female, I don't think I'm quite bothered in the same way, and it seems they do little things... like dressing the younger members in the shorts instead of the miniskirts in "only you", but she was still dancing in a really adult way.
But I was so impressed with all of them! Amazing!

ReplyDeleteEverytime I download from AIriin~ Deshou, The sharing program comes to my computer. I don't Get it. Then 1/4 of all the people are in my computer. It's so annoying, and some internet people have come to my door and they're gonna take my internet connection if I don't quit the sharing program thing. so I can't watch these.. Do you have any ideas why I get that sharing program, or how to get it out of my computer if I download these?
