Risa - Koisuru Game Park Kyundere 3/28/12 (full show)

So in case you don't know what this is, well, it's a show where Gakisan (and a few other celebs) play romantic games in pairs.

For example, there's this:

And that's probably the most innocent thing that happens between Risa and that guy (Yuji).

The game goes like this: first, all contestants select a ring that is attached to a red string. This red string links the female and male contestants to each other and determines who will be partners for this game.

And from there, the actual fun starts. Risa and Yuji's first game is called Silhouette Romance. The game is simple - after they are shown a silhouette, they must match the pose exactly (which lead to the lovely first picture in this post).

After that pose, they were challenged with two more silhouettes, each more daring than the last (which I won't ruin any further in this post; watching, not knowing what pose they will have to do is half the fun).

From there, Risa and Yuji's second game is called Trick of Blow (lol).

For this game, one part of each of the two contestants' faces is randomly selected,

Cheek and cheek for Risa and Yuji
which they must use to squish a red ball between the two of them (the ball is being blown in the air by a wind machine),

and then, if successful at trapping the ball between the two specified facial features, they must transport the ball (still using their cheeks, in Risa and Yuji's case), and drop it into a nearby bowl to clear this game.

The final game that Risa and Yuji took part in is called Master of Love, which is basically a couples version of DDR (or whatever motion enabled dance/movement game you prefer).

There is obviously a lot of physical interaction between Gaki and the guy, so sensitive fans probably will want to steer away. But as for me, I found it to be really cute and a lot of fun; I'm really enjoying H!P's new-found daring side as of late.

As I mentioned in the title, this is the full 43 minute show, containing a few other celebs (whom I've never heard of because I obviously don't watch enough Japanese television) playing the same games. If you only want to see the Risa x Yuji parts, it's currently available streaming.

Contest #7: Second chances!

I'm so late with this, I know. I said I'd do this months ago lol. But anyway, I still have a few extra copies of Aichan's graduation single that I said I would give away, so here I am!

This contest is only open to people who took part in my past contests, but didn't win.

I will get back to "normal" contests where anyone can participate (starting with Gakisan's graduation single next month), but for now, this is for non-winners of past contests only.

For this contest, there is no theme. Draw, write a story, make a nice graphic, dance, sing - do whatever you want!

Rules:

1.  You must have taken part in ANY of my past contests, but did NOT win.

2. Send all entries to airiindeshou@gmail.com with the subject "Contest #7 entry".

3. Submit your entry by Friday, April 6th 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time.

There will be at least one winner, with the possibility of up to 3 different people winning so do your best!

Both Chobi and I will be judging the contests together from now on, so be prepared to impress the both of us!

TPF is looking for new members again!

It's recruitment time again (well we never really stopped looking, but we could use new faces now more than ever)!

Translators and timers are needed the most, but I'm sure leader can find a place for you if you are exceptional at any of the other jobs (typesetting, editing, encoding).

A translator's job is obvious - you will be responsible for translating Japanese speech into understandable English and occasionally translating onscreen kanji captions into English as well. If you are able to do that by yourself, then TPF could use your help!

The other major position of need is timing. As a timer, every time a girl speaks, it is your job to separate that sentence into a blank "line", where the translator will fill in the blank. It's a very simple job and is pretty easy to learn, but it gets pretty boring doing the same thing over and over again hundreds (sometimes thousands) of times per video.

We do accept timers without any experience (you will be trained by me, you lucky person you) so even if you've never worked on a fansub before, the only things you'll need are free time (lots of it) and a passion for either Hello! Project or just idols in general (as we have plans to occasionally work on non-H!P videos).

If you can translate, know how to time (or want to learn), or have any other skill(s) you think we should know about that can help us, either post a comment here with your email address or just email me directly at the email address in the sidebar on the right. If you want to see more subs, released faster, this is your chance to make that a reality!

Berryz on Melodix (2012.03.24)

To promote their new single, Berryz Koubou appeared on Melodix for a talk and live performance of Be Genki.

You probably won't find much enjoyment out of the talk unless you understand a bit of Japanese because it's a quiz style segment, but as long as you like the song (I do!), the live performance is flawless.

[TPF] HelloPro! TIME Episode 34 (subbed)

Two subbed episodes in a row! Here is episode 34!

This episode's main feature is cameraman Yurina at two Ousama Game movie screening events from a few months ago.

To make things more interesting, Kumai decided to play an Ousama Game ("King's Game") on one of the other members during the two events shown.

The Ousama Game worked like this: whoever Kumai targeted for that day had to follow instructions written on a mysterious text message, or else an embarrassing picture of them would be shown to the audience.

Chinami was the first victim and was given this challenge:

During the Q&A portion of the event, say 3 or more English words in response to one of the questions.

For the other screening event, Nakky was chosen to play the King's Game and had to remember to somehow say the six random words/phrases as described by her text message before the event ended. If she fails, then she too would have an embarrassing picture revealed to the world.

The second segment of this episode features cameraman Takechan as she films the S/mileage members during the Please Miniskirt Postwoman PV again.

Watch to find out Chinami's and Nakky's fates as well as how Yuuka's last PV making went!
