HelloPro! Time Episode 4 screenshots

Every week, these HelloPro! Time episodes have been nothing short of amazing. Can episode four continue that trend?

Because this week heavily features C-ute, we have a new temporary title. C-ute TIME!

The episode starts off with just Nakky and Maichan.

They talk to us for a while because they are waiting for the third member of their date to arrive. Maimi and Airi both have business to attend to, so that just leaves Chisato.

Chisato is always late to everything lol. There was a subtitled video about that very subject but I can't find it. Oh well.

With Chisato joining them, Nakky and Maichan can finally head off on their C-ute date in Odaiba.

Before entering their first destination, Chisato and Maichan decide to dance their way in.

It's a pet shop.

Each of them gets to hold a puppy.

Chisato's choice up there costs 289,800 yen, which is about $3000.

Hagiwara's choice

costs 258,800 yen (about $2800).

Nakky picked a heavy one. It costs 329,800 yen (about $3500).

But don't worry. Nakky has experience with this sort of thing.

Chisato then proceeds to annoy the little guy by poking and prodding it.

Doggy sezs NO!
After playing with puppies, we are now in the hands of camerman Maimi,

at her practice for her play Ran (the 2011 version).

We get to see leader's acting skills in work. Even at practice she's flawless. Are we looking at H!P's best actress? I think so.

Back to the trio on their date, Chisato uses the power of the force to open a door in their way

you guys have no idea how long i've been waiting to make that joke *points to username*

which leads to Tokyo Joypolis theme park.

They first play a couple of games,

and then head to a fancy purikura machine (short for "purinto kurabu", which is a photo booth).

It has multiple cameras in different angles so you can pose however you like.

What could this hot pose be?
Sekushi!

Up next is a haunted house!

But first, its time to take it back to cameraman Maimichan. Her and Manager-san are on a lunch break from the Ran practice.

I am totally jealous of Manager-san getting to eat out with Maimi. I so wanna be C-ute's manager right now

After watching Maimi eat, we are taken to a secret room in UFA's headquarters.

Surprised Airi is surprised
She was trying to do her homework/study when a staff member barged in with a camera.

She talks about having a midterm soon, a radio show, a Buono! radio show, and right now she is studying English. Airi is such a busy, but hardworking girl <3

And her handwriting is surprisingly really good. Forget being C-ute's manager. I wanna be Airi's English tutor~

After showing us her English notes for a bit, she gives us a test!

What is the meaning of the word "scatter"?
Once the time limit is up, Airi shows us her expert explaining skills:

Next question!

What is the meaning of the word "gather"?
And once again, Airi demonstrates.

Before she leaves us, she says that laughing alone is lonely~~

After a commercial break (you'll see), it's finally time to see ChisaNakkyMai enter the haunted house.

In order to distract herself from what she hears, Maichan gives singing a shot.

After nearly scaring half of C-ute to death, we get to stare at Airi studying for a short time before we go back to cameraman Maimi and watch her kick butt.

The final segment of this episode is with Morning Musume. Manager-san calls a sudden meeting and the girls are (rightfully) scared of what it's about.

Manager-san says that there will be a 10th gen audition soon and they haven't told the 9th gen members about it yet. He wants it to be a surprise at an MC during Morning Musume's concert. And what a surprise it was.

And finally for next week we will be in the hands of cameraman Reina for some karaoke!

  2. What's great is that it was Chisato that gave you opening for a Star Wars joke.

I LOVE that MaiMai sings when she's scared. Very endearing. It also reminds me of the videos where Nakky's riding a roller-coaster and singing.

I'm definitely going to re-encode this for myself. 720p is just too much for my computer, I don't need the extra pixels. 720 is better width than height for me.

  3. I'd say Aichan is a better actress, but Maimi is good. ;)

And Airi didn't have a Chinese test. XD Mid-terms. :3

  4. @CIA: big sister chisato <3

@Hidders: lol, I thought it was cute too until they started crying. Then I felt evil for smiling.

This video will be quite tricky to re-encode because of all of the things wrong with it. If it takes you too long or if you simply can't get it to work then just let me know. I don't have time to do it now, but I can put it on the to-do list and get to it eventually.

@rinrin: Oh, so she said chuukan and not chuuka. That makes a lot more sense.

  5. Yeah, ran into audio sync problems on my first run. Everything is out of sync except for the "Momoiro Sparkling" promo, LOL!

I think it's the commercial in the beginning that starts it, will remember to chop that bit out. I'll tackle it tomorrow/later today, I will figure it out since I need to become more versed in this stuff anyway. Either I figure it out or I suffer, it's not really a big deal for something like this. I have a BUNCH of video editing programs and even more codecs installed so one combination of them is bound to work.

  6. If cutting the CM at the beginning doesn't work (I have a feeling it won't be that simple), then you'll likely have to edit the audio separately.

Most video players (I prefer Media Player Classic for this) allow you to change the audio delay to make it play either earlier or later so that it will sync up properly. (In MPC you can go to options > Audio Switcher > check audio time shift and type in a number). You'll need to determine whether the audio is too slow (in that case you would use a positive delay) or too fast (a negative delay would be needed).

Once you find the sweet spot (usually adding or subtracting 100ms at a time is a good way to test until you find the right number), then you can just watch it in MPC. Or you'll have to find an encoding program that allows you to manually set an audio delay (Avidemux can be used for this. Under audio, go to Filters > Check time shift and have at it). That way it will be encoded into the audio and will work no matter what video player you use.

Good luck! And now you see why I didn't have time to mess with it~
