Not wasting any time, Kikkawa Yuu's debut single will release on March 30th, 2011.
It will be available in four different versions (Regular, and Limited A + B + C), all of which will have a different B-side.
Each CD will contain four songs (except the regular edition): Kikkake wa YOU!, Kikkake's instrumental, and the B-side plus its instrumental.

The best part is that each version will only be 1000 yen (about $12), which is the price UFA normally charges for regular editions. Getting limited editions for that price is really awesome.
The news actually gets even better.
This single will be under the Universal Music Japan Label (not owned by UFA). This is great because UMJ has some pretty popular artists like GReeeeN, whom sells like 100,000 and some other awesome artists like mihimaruGT and Aoyama Thelma.
For right now at least, promotion won't be an issue. She will be in a movie with the same name of her debut single (Kikkake wa You), which will show Kikkawa's journey from Egg to Soloist.
The last piece of news is that Kikkawa will perform during Universal Music Japan's concert titled "Universal Dream Live 2011" with other artists like KARA and SDN48. I told you UFA would promote the crap out of Kikkawa when she debuted and I'm glad to see it as reality.

Sayumi told me this would happen.
ReplyDeleteKikkawa deserves this. I'm so looking forward to her debut.
