Bijou Gaku Morning Musume 9th Generation Special Episode (2011-01-07)

Earlier today another Bijou Gaku special aired on Japanese television. This time, the focus moved from the auditions to the audition winners themselves.

The episode begins announcing the winners again.

And then a short preview of the contents of this episode.

The audition winners are watching Aichan

with a look of excitement on their faces.

Onto the actual show, 5nin Morning Musume is shown rehearsing before the concert. 

Sayu and Gakisan are there too, just hiding.

5nin Musume talks about the prospect of having new members added.

The morning of the concert, even the audition winners themselves didn't know the results yet.

One by one (they arrived in different cars and at different times), they go in to see Tsunku.

Erina comes in after Kanon and yells "Kanon-chan!" Its obvious they have gotten close already.

 Riho was last to enter.

This was the first time I've seen Riho nervous. She almost bumped into the corner of the table trying to shake Tsunku's hand and nervously gave a bow.

Back in a room with Tsunku, you can see the boss man with a hoodie on. Nice.

and seems to be helping them write their MC introductions for later.

From the scene we saw earlier of the girls watching Aichan and Morning Musume perform on stage,

Erina is completely in awe of her sempais.

lol, they gave them Gatas Brilhantes jackets (H!P's soccer team). Oh H!P <3

When it was time for them to be introduced, the audition winners entered through the audience.

Some lucky fans held their hands out and were able to high five the new members.

Aichan treats Riho like her new pet, by repeatedly patting her on the head lol.

Riho gives a deep, respecting bow for Sayu-sempai.

Next, the three winners give a short introduction and message to the wota.

Riho says she is aiming to be leader. Ganbatte Riho!

Erina says something about Reina (not sure exactly what. probably wants to be like her she's from the same prefecture as her) and Reina is positively surprised.

And Kanon says that she wants to get the center position in songs.

Then the focus shifts to Mizuki. She sang Maji Bomber as her audition song.

And here are the new Morning Musume members!

They get to meet Berryz.

And finally have a meeting together as official Morning Musume members.

This was another great special episode. I was worried about what the TV coverage of the auditions would be like (after that 5 minute section of a Bijou Gaku episode a couple weeks ago), but we've seen a lot of great stuff. I'm not 100% but it seems like at least some of next week's episode will have even more 9th generation stuff, with them meeting their other sempai like C-ute and Manoeri. It also seems like the rest of next week's episode will continue where Bijou Gaku left off with Sayu, Aika, Captain, and Yurina eating.
