[ADDP] Berryz Koubou 2012 Spring Blu-ray

Thanks to Amazon Japan having this for a lot cheaper than CDJapan and thanks to the following donators, we were able to buy this concert: mewtwo1928, ladylibra92, and neonero. One of them will win this DVD - read here how you can participate in a future donation project like this!

You can read my review of this concert here.

[ADDP] Morning Musume 2012 Haru: Risa & Aika Graduation

It releases on August 29th and for the Blu-ray, we need 9319yen (or about $118). A few donations have already been sent so we need 5519yen more!

Send donations to airiindeshou@gmail.com or read here if you have any questions.

[ADDP] C-ute 2012 Haru Natsu Concert

It releases on August 15th and the Blu-ray with shipping is 7414yen (about $93).

I won't have any money to put towards this so you guys will have to do this one on your own. To save money, I could use a slightly slower shipping option from CDJapan (the total would be 6914yen), or buy from Amazon Japan (6404yen total).

You can send donations to airiindeshou@gmail.com (read this post if you are unsure how).

PS, we still need $11 (or 1000yen) for the Berryz Blu-ray concert!

[ADDP] Berryz Koubou 2012 Haru Blu-ray

Well that was a rather short hiatus wasn't it? It was nice to have a break and I also was able to test some new filehosters. I'll be back to regular posting in the next few days. Thanks to everyone who said kind things!

The next ADDP is for Berryz's 2012 Spring Concert Blu-ray that releases on August 8th. The total cost 7414yen (about $93), but most of it has already been paid by a generous donator, so we only need $11 more to afford it.

If you're interested in donating towards this (and thus, giving yourself a chance to win it), send donations to airiindeshou@gmail.com now. Thanks!

[ADDP] C-ute Alo-Hello 2 donations still needed!

It releases in 2 weeks and we still need 4000yen in order to afford the Blu-ray or 2100yen more for the normal DVD.

Donate now (send donations to airiindeshou@gmail.com) if you can! I can add about 2500yen, so we can now afford the normal DVD, but if you want to see this in Blu-ray quality we need a bit more!

[BD-RIP] Buono! - LIVE 2012 R・E・A・L Concert 480p, 720p

First let me start by thanking all of the following donators who completely paid for this Blu-ray concert by themselves (this is an Airiindeshou first; usually I have to chip in at least for the shipping!): NotC-UTE, Vix, ladylibra92, and Mozenator.

One of them will win this Blu-ray DVD (I will make a new post announcing the winner this week) and if you want to be in this position for a future release, read here about how you can take part in a DVD Donation Project!

I don't have the time to write a review for this (maybe later), so here are some screenshots (taken from the 720p version):

[ADDP] Buono!'s R E A L Blu-ray (Deadline: May 16)

Buono!'s 2012 Winter Concert Blu-ray releases on May 23rd so I will stop collecting donations for it on the 16th so that I have enough time to place the order.

This time I will also help pay for it so as long as you guys donate at least half, then we'll be able to buy it.

We need 7414yen total for the Blu-ray. (The concert is 5714yen and shipping is 1700yen). That's about $89. As long as you guys can come up with at least $45, then we'll have enough to buy it.

If you'd like to donate, send donations to airiindeshou@gmail.com

Read this post to find out more information about ADDP and remember, all donations of at least $5 enter you in the raffle to win this DVD!

[ADDP] H!P's Rock-chan & Funky-chan Blu-ray (Deadline May 9th)

First a little news about the previous ADDP: as I expected, we didn't raise enough money for the H!P 2012 Winter concerts (the SD DVDs) so I didn't buy them. So now it's time for the next ADDP: the Blu-ray version of Rock-chan and Funky-chan. (I will be posting about Buono!'s R E A L concert shortly since it releases a week after.)

Again, I won't be putting any money towards this release since we've seen a lot of these concerts from the TV broadcast so you guys will need to come up with 11224yen in donations by May 9th (it releases on May 16th) if you want me to buy this Blu-ray DVD. Good luck!

[ADDP] H!P 2012 Winter Rock-chan & Funky-chan DVDs

In less than 1 month (April 11th), the Rock-chan and Funky-chan H!P 2012 Winter DVDs will be released, so it's time for another Airiindeshou DVD Donation Project!

Unfortunately this time I will not be contributing any money, so if you guys don't come up with enough donations then I won't buy these DVDs. This is because we already saw a lot of these concerts from the TV broadcast a few weeks ago (in HD, too!) and so I personally don't think it's worth it.

There is no Blu-ray version scheduled to be released at this time so the DVDs are 3800 yen each.

Shipping will be 1700 yen, for a total of 9300 yen for both DVDs shipped or 5500 yen shipped for just one DVD.

If you plan on donating, please leave a comment or email me, but DON'T send donations yet. I want to see if we have enough to buy it or not. I'd like an answer within a week so please hurry and let me know if you plan to participate!

[BD-RIP] Berikyuu 2011 Fall Collab Concert 720p, 480p, streaming

Two awesome concerts in a row! This time it's Berryz and C-ute's 2011 Fall Collaboration Concert, brought to you with the help of the following donators: neonero, HelloRaffi, ladylibra92, as well as some help from me. One of those three people will win this Blu-ray DVD thanks to their donations. Read here to find out how you can take part in a future donator contest and win DVDs like this!

Since I'm a H!P Kids fan above anything else, Berikyuu's first collab concert is one of my all-time favorites so I naturally had high hopes for this concert.

Just looking at it, the setlist isn't as exciting as I'd like (especially compared to the edited Tengoku concert from yesterday), but thankfully, this concert has quite a few memorable moments and performances.

It starts off slowly (literally) with a performance of Seishun Gekijou (the Sengoku Jieitai theme song) followed by the concert's first MC. From there, things begin to pick up with a medley of a bunch of Berryz and C-ute songs mashed together in a 6 minute performance.

I had a ton of fun watching the medley. The transitions from song to song fit pretty well and the way they were mixed together was genius, especially near the end (you'll know when you get there).

After a cool VTR, there is another MC followed by a few songs performed by C-ute only,

and a few songs performed by Berryz Koubou.

Next was a MC that determined who would be the one to sing the solo for this concert. By randomly choosing a stick with a crown on it, Chisato became king and got the chance to perform Romantic Ukare Mode by herself.

But, before that actually happened, Miya (who had that day's unlucky number) had to introduce Chisato's performance with "a super sexy pose". As soon as I heard that, I knew that this is going to be awesome.

After being instructed to move to the exact center, Miya does this:

Holy sarfvgrefhbrgedghnh

..So yeah, after Chisa's solo, Berikyuu (minus Buono!) rejoin to perform Makeruna Wasshoi! Despite having less members than the original (no Manoeri, S/mileage, and the three members of Buono!), this performance had a lot of power in it, especially in the wasshoi parts. I was particularly impressed with Risako here (and throughout the whole concert actually). Somehow, I liked this performance more than the original Bekimasu version.

If you were wondering why Buono! was absent from Makeruna Wasshoi!, well it was because they would give an awesome performance DEEP MIND next (in the original PV outfits, too). I've said this many times now, but I love these outfits. This performance is why I love Buono! so much.

Also, Miya is really, really hot in this performance (I'm sensing a reoccurring theme here with Miya and hotness in this concert!).

From there is where the shuffling starts. Yurina, Risako, Maimi and Chisato perform Bye Bye Bye and Captain, Chinami, Maasa, Nakky, and Mai perform Yuke Yuke Monkey Dance. Normally this is my favorite part of a concert because we get to see random pairings singing random songs, but this time around I wasn't too thrilled. The performances weren't bad; they just aren't standout performances like I've seen many times in the past.

That's the POWER was performed next in a very... um, interesting way. For whatever reason, some random ladies in exotic clothing join the girls on stage and dance. I didn't pay much attention to this performance because I was busy lol-ing at it all. The stark contrast between what Berikyuu and the random women wore is particularly hilarious. I swear a couple of the women had on thongs or something

After a MC and a change of outfits, the genki portion of the concert starts, beginning with Seishun Song. I usually don't care much for this part of a concert mostly because we've heard the large, genki group songs hundreds of times by now, but for whatever reason, this was my favorite part of this collab concert. It just seemed more energetic than usual (and probably was, due to 6 high energy songs in a row).

Finally, the encore started off with Berikyuu performing Heroine ni Narou ka! Although it's a Berryz song, Berryz were there only for backup singing and dancing only. All of the solos were handled by C-ute. I think that they did a solid job overall, but still, it didn't quite come close to the original and I found the performance to be lacking. Airi having a bigger role in this would have definitely improved upon it, I think. The performance just didn't have the same conviction as when Berryz performs it.

After one final MC and a Amazuppai Haru ni Sakurasaku performance, there are two bonuses. First is another solo - Momoko performing Momoiro Sparkling. But once again, before that concert's king performed, Miya had more hotness to show.

..Yep Miya definitely wins this concert (also, thank you cameraman-san). Momo did an excellent job on her solo. It really fit her well.

The other bonus is a performance of Kiss me Aishiteru. Like Berryz in Heroine, C-ute took the role of backup singers and dancers in this song. Surprisingly, I liked this much more than C-ute's version of Heroine ni Narou ka! (I say surprisingly because when radio rips surfaced, I felt oppositely, but I did note that things could change with video of the performances). Of course, the original is still better, but I really like Berryz's version. The only major complaint I have are the outfits. I know that they had to perform Amazuppai afterwards, but the outfits really took out the hotness that Kiss me Aishiteru's dance naturally brings.

Might as well end with sweaty hot Miya, right?
Right now the only download option is via Wupload for the 720p version and Mediafire for the 720p bonus performances. I'll have MF links for the 720p version, 480p links, and streaming later today when I wake up.

[ADDP] Contest winners!

All of these people already know that they won (and most of them have already received their prizes), but I wanted to at least make it public who the past few Airiindeshou DVD Project contest winners were. (To enter into one of those contests, you must donate at least $5 to any ADDP purchase. Read more here.)

Winner of the Rock'n Buono!4 Blu-ray: mewtwo1928

Winner of S/mileage's 2011 Fall Concert: kuribohchan

Winner of Aichan's graduation concert Blu-ray: antiswanky

A big congrats to those three donators! And a huge thanks to everyone who donated so far (12 of you and multiple repeat donators). It's been a big help, really.

PS, I will finally be giving away a few more copies of Aichan's graduation single to a few people soon. Contest details will be announced in the near future (this contest is only for people who entered in previous contests but didn't win).

[ADDP] Berikyuu 2011 Fall Concert - Donations Wanted!

Berikyuu's 2011 Fall Joint Concert is releasing in about a month (2/29), so I'm going to go ahead and start the Airiindeshou DVD Donation Project back up.

It is releasing in both DVD and Blu-ray formats on the same day, so of course, I'd rather get the Blu-ray version. It will be 7414yen total (this includes shipping). That's about $95 USD.

The normal DVD is 5500yen total (about $70 USD).

I will be accepting donations until 2/22 (one week before the release date).

Even if we get enough to pay for this, you may still continue to donate if you wish to enter yourself in the contest for it. Read more about how to donate here.

PS, I will be picking the winner for the Aichan graduation concert blu-ray tonight so check your email inboxes to see if you won. I'll email the winner! (And I'll post the results of the last few ADDP contest winners soon as well.)

Aichan's graduation concert Blu-ray bought!

Thanks to a bunch of donators (antiswanky, Sharon, neronero, Athaclen, and one or two anons), I now have the other half I needed to pay for the Blu-ray version of Aichan's graduation concert. You all had excellent timing because I managed to grab the last copy CDJapan has available (though they'll eventually get more).

Although this is the final concert DVD release of the year, I am still accepting donations. Remember, any donation of at least $5 will put you in a contest to win the concert DVD. As long as donations are received before this DVD gets to my house (the 28th), you will still be able to win it. Otherwise, any extra donations will go toward the next concert release.

Aichan's graduation concert donations

So Aichan's graduation concert is nearing release (the 28th) so I am now ready to collect donations for it.

For the Blu-ray:
If I order from CDJapan, it will be 10201 yen (about $130). Amazon Japan currently has it on sale so if I order from them it will be 8222 yen (about $109), but who knows how long they will keep that price.

For the normal DVD:
I need 6392yen (about $81).

Of course, I'm not buying both. How much money you guys donate will determine which version I buy. I have up to $60 I can spend towards this so I need about $50-70 for the blu-ray version (depending on if we get enough money to catch Amazon's sale) or $21 for the normal DVD.

Remember, as long as at least half of any DVD is paid for by donations, I will give it away to one of the donators who donated at least $5!

If you don't know how to donate, refer to the last question in this Q&A. Donations should be sent to Airiindeshou@gmail.com. I would prefer to have donations in by Saturday or Sunday.

Morning Musume Blu-ray PV collection donations

Does anyone want to donate toward the Morning Musume Bluray PV collection?

We have half raised and still need about $42/3500yen to be able to afford it. I could probably pay for the rest but then I wouldn't be able to help pay for Aichan's graduation concert, so if anyone wants to donate for this Blu-ray DVD (remember all donations $5 or more allows you to be entered in a contest to win it!), let me know.
