So today another external hard drive that I bought came in.
This time it's a 2 TB Western Digital external. Amazon dropped the price on it (it used to be $120) but I got mine for $86, which is cheaper than what I paid for my first 1.5 TB external ($90) so I knew I had to buy it.
Here is what my current HD situation looks like (click for fullsize):
So in total I have a grand total of approximately 4.5 TB of space spread over 2 WD externals (a 1.5 TB and 2 TB), 2 internals (two 500 GBs), and an SSD (60 GB).
But it's not going to stay that way for long.
Besides the price, I bought the new 2 TB external for two reasons:
1. I wanted to rid my PC of those old 500 GB internals because they are getting old + slow
2. I will be building my mom a new PC and she's perfectly happy with the internals that I'm taking out, so I needed a place to put the stuff I currently have on them
And so there you have it. I have too much space.
u save soo much stuffs
ReplyDeleteI've got one better. Bought relacement memory that despite meeting all the motherboard requirements isn't compatible in the end. So I've got 4 gigs / $150.00 worth of "paper weights". Can't return them due to Newegg's policy in which is in short "if opened your screwed". So I don't supose you need or can use for someone else's PC repairs http://goo.gl/OZia. If so I'll mail them to ya at no cost/charge.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean when you say it isn't compatible? Does the computer simply not recognize them?
ReplyDeleteBoth of the RAM slots on my motherboard are occupied so I don't need them, but thanks for the offer!
First I'd get the post code 96 Cmos fault. After making sure they were installed properly windows would crash when trying to load. Set it to a PC repair shop & they couldn't get it to work either.
ReplyDeleteOh I doubt you need old DDR memory. Was just curious if anyone you know needs such.
Hmm, I can't really think of any use for them at my house.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you can play frisbee with them (or sell them on ebay)
I need more space =[
